Jackson Stables has hosted over 90 wedding related events since it's opening in 2004. We take pride in our attention to detail and individualized service. Events include weddings, receptions, showers, rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Our beautiful ox cart and rustic tables and chairs provide seating for 35-40 people depending on set-up. In addition, the main hall of the Stables will hold up to 10 - 5 foot round tables comfortably seating 8 people at each. This also allows space for buffet tables, cake table, DJ, gift tables, etc... in the main hall. To allow additional seating, tables are placed outside the Stable's north door, typically open, on the concrete patio. The maximum capacity allowed at the Stables is 125 guests. It is a perfect, unique setting for the small intimate gathering to the moderate sized wedding event! During the warmer season (typically late April through late October), the Stable doors are open to allow the country fresh air and the ambiance to enter the main hall. During the cooler months we are open (March, April, November & December), the doors are closed and the main hall becomes a cozy respite from the Missouri cold. We love pairing live music with our wines! Our local band, DEADWOOD (www.facebook.com/DeadwoodBlues), entertains us monthly. We've had so much fun with our young artists! An evening of creativity for our kids returning to the Stables soon. Appropriate for ages 7-12 with both young men and ladies. Kayla provides a canvas, easel, paint brushes, paint and instruction to guide these young Picasso's to create their unique work of art they take home! The fee is $25 per child. Parents can paint too for an additional fee. Reservations are required. Art evenings will occur monthly. Watch our calendar or Facebook page for date announcements. Join us to explore your creative side! Hosted by "Paint the Town" from Columbia, MO. This opportunity is scheduled monthly so check our calendar to find an evening that will work for you or your group. $40 will provide your canvas, easel, paint, brushes, apron, instruction, and a heavy beverage tasting to start your creative juices flowing! Check in is required by 6:30pm with brushes in hand by 7:00. Stable doors open early at 3:00. Reservations are required and can be reserved in advance.
